Los Angeles Area Airports

LAX (Los Angeles International Airport)


If you are flying into Los Angeles from another country you will most likely arrive at LAX.  Even flights arriving from within the US typically land at LAX.


The Theme Building at LAX features a restaurant

Bob Hope Airport, Burbank
Burbank airport services many locations within the US.  Southwest Airlines has a big presence there.

John Wayne / Orange County
Servicing the OC, this a large regional airport.

Long Beach Airport
Jet Blue offers flights to many areas from here, including New York.

Ontario International
Serves the Inland Empire.

Santa Monica
Originally called Clover Field, this is another general avaition facilty.

Van Nuys
Currently the busiest general aviation airport in the country, Van Nuys handles a large amount of corporate traffic, private jets, and small passenger craft.

Torrance
Mainly handles smaller aircraft and helicopters.

Train Stations

Union Station

The grand facade of this historic building (historic in LA terms that is!), is one of the most in impressive in Los Angeles.  Servicing Amtrak trains and regional metro trains, this is a very busy hub for travellers.
