LA By Area

LA By Area

Los Angeles is the city that grew out, as opposed to up, unlike most major American cities, though there are tall buildings in the Downtown, Westwood and Century City areas.

Los Angeles County is the largest county in the USA and is home to some 9 million people, including the City of Los Angeles and 88 other cities.

This is a breakdown of every city and district in Los Angeles County.

Those marked with an asterisk * are The City of Los Angeles.  Some are distinct areas within the city, and others are independent Cities.  Links are provided to relevant websites.
