Beaches
Assisted by the popularity of “Baywatch”
and countless other TV shows and movies, the
glistening beaches of LA are famous all over the world.
These beaches are listed North to South as if you were driving
from the Los Angeles County line heading South.
Malibu
Leo Carrillo State Beach
Located at the Northern tip of Los Angeles County
as it runs into Ventura County.
Carbon Beach

More a residential enclave than anything else, and sometimes referred
to as “billionaires row” given the wealth of its residents,
Carbon Beach is nonetheless still accessible to the general public
(as are all California beaches, mandated by state law).
La Costa

As with Carbon Beach, more a reference to a strip of sand in front of
multi-million dollar beach front homes than an individual beach.
Nicholas Canyon County Beach
Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beach
(Includes El Pescador, La Piedra & El Matador beaches).
Zuma Beach

One of LA’s most popular beaches. Absolutely packed in summer with parking at a premium.
Point Dume

Dan Blocker State Beach
Malibu Lagoon State Beach / Surfrider Beach
Las Tunas State Beach
Topanga State Beach
Westward Beach
Located South of Point Dume beach behind a large rock face,
this secluded beach has been featured in many movies.
